All depends how they are having it, anything from 4-10 pints! I normaly carry about 10 of the hard pellet and make up 2 of 6mm expanders.

I got through about 5 pints of 6mm last Sunday in a match at Monks.

The skill in the method is sussing out the feeding on the day.

Yes, if floating baits are allowed you can, or use a mixer, you would want about 3 ft between the bait and the float though, the Drennan clear surface carp wagglers are good for using with floating baits.

Hi Peter

I use Skrettings Coarse pellets as feed and on the hook, I buy them from Hawkhurst fish farms for 20 quid a 25 kilo sack.

You want 6mm for Monks Wink

If you are in the fisho I recon you will have to attack the venue with pellet, my tactics would be to fish pellet/paste shallow, probably on the pole, maybe the wagger particularly on lake 2! even with every peg in I cant see less than 100lb winning it, probably nearer 150lb!!
