match report 1/6/08lavender farm, the old lake
when we 1st got there were holding our breath as most of the carp were spawing, and the signs did look bad,but how wrong can you be . it fished very well with 2 ton weights, 1st kerion reed with 128lb, secound was darren cummins with 104lb 3rd was slim with 95 and 4th was danny easson with 89lb i had a good day with a shade under 70lb fishing maggot up in the water lots of small carp but no lumps, well done to the jnrs with some top results. i think everyone will be hopeing that we get the old lake a few times more next year thanks to the scales men and tetly for all there hard work, cheers peter b
