used to fish johnsons lakes a few years back now.just at the start of the season is best. first thing in the morning was good there spraying maggots got the tench up in the water one day hade 3 tench 7lb 8lb 6oz and the best 10lb 4oz all on maggots also a top bait is sweetcorn tight to the lily pads. one more is bread flake ledgered with a 2 foot tail let it sink slowly ok m8 dave slim
