hi tetly.
your club has a great atmosphere and the couple of guys i know in it all seem to rate this as to why they like it so much.
dont lose that atmosphere in your club m8 and keep up all that work you and the others put in to it.
when i mention the musketeers name and tetly in shops they have heard of you which for such a new club is a credit to all of you..
one for all AND ALL FOR ONE
TAKE CARE GUYS

framfield spring lake. feedie smiths lake in ingatestone a bag up water lavender fram, monks lake 2 stuponds gold vally newlands hall are just a few, the lake in ingatestone will smash our club record, everyone will be on fish there are no shit pegs everyone has open water and it holds 45/50 pegs. it takes about 40 mins from the dartford tunnel. i think its better to go a little bit out the way when i know everyone gonna bag up and beat alot of there p/b,s pittlands fram is a another top water you can only book after octorber but the last time i fished a match the winner had 207lb and i had 95lb and came nowhere, how bad is that.

Newlands is an excellent venue however be aware of the rules regarding the bigger carp have to be wieghed as soon as they are landed Other than that its worth a visit i fished amatch there a couple of weeks ago we had three wieghts over 100lb and numerous wieghtsa in the eighties and nineties

I think the format and venues you have at present are pretty good Tetly. One word of warning - don't over stretch yourself or the club. As you've probably gathered by now it can take up a lot of your time and you can't please everyone all of the time, so whatever you do you'll always have objections from someone. On a lighter note, I think designating a particular match as 'Club Champion' match is a good idea for the more accompished anglers amongst us, allowing them to enter competitions in the monthly mags and to represent the Musketeers at National level. The usual couple of matches a month seem to be doing very well as they are. Although looking for bigger venues shouldn't be much of a problem as there are loads to choose from in and around London/South East such as Framfield, Monks, Lavender, Hartleylands, Tylers, Newlands Hall, Hawkhurst (although only 20 pegs but a bloody good days fishing!), Sam's..... the list is endless Wink

Too right Peter, if we can raise money for charity and fish at the same time ...then thats cool with me, every little helps.

We all go to these matches because we want fish as often as possible and raise money for charity at the same time, we are a great club, with many good friends and we are all proud to be Metro musketeers ...I know I am.

mr poleman  (stuart newbury)
FATHER AND CHILD MATCHES ARE IN THE PIPELINE  AS A FUN MATCH AS WELL AS PAIR MATCHES ETC BUT CAN ONLY DO SO MANY PER YEAR..

if the club as a whole dont want to do charity events then we wont but everyone has always been happy to have a gr8 day out and why not raise a bit of cash for worthy causes along the way if possible??

although myself and others are doing several charity events this year.  the club (musketeers) are only running 1 which is for the harris hospice and that was at the request of one of our members (peter bolt) because it is close to his heart..  and i dont find that an excessive amount of charity matches ...

theres also the fact that the charity matches dont include league points and dont take up the time of scheduled monthly matches and YOU dont have to go!!

hats off to all those that are happy to take the extra time to organise and run these events aswell as keeping league and fun matches running throughout the year

oh dear ive gone off on one   Embarassed lol  lol

ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL Laughing

stuwart has only as far as i know been on one match this year . i would not get your knickers in a twist tetly over members who dont come out. you and the rest of the boys are a credit to our club,                          one for all and all for one Twisted Evil
